Through Ashoka’s Fellowship program, we identify and support sport changemakers, offering them a transformative journey as Ashoka Fellows. This experience challenges and supports Fellows to refine their innovations, critically assess their strategies, and deepen their understanding of their roles as leaders and catalysts for systemic change

Selected sport changemakers will embark on a tailored timeline of investment and a lifetime of support, accessing curated engagement and facilitated connections. Contributions to the Sport for Changemaking Impact Fund will ensure that social entrepreneurs across the sport landscape can access this opportunity and strengthen their capacity toward systems-change

Many of the best ideas for solving social problems never get off the ground because they lack the financial resources to survive those early lean years.

The Sport for Changemaking Impact Fund provides sport changemakers with a common vehicle to fund these innovative solutions creating long-lasting change.

The fund faces head-on the inherent complexity of tackling the root causes of the world’s biggest challenges by addressing:

Complex start-up and operating structures for new foundations and initiatives.
Disconnected funding practices targeting only one stakeholder group or focusing on one sport.
Difficulty in identifying scalable innovations that have the necessary impact evidence.
